I was gifted this classical guitar by a luthier friend from Auckland. The back had serious damage so I removed the back in order to access the damaged area. |

Several braces were split from the impact that damaged the back panel. |

There were several long cracks that needed attention. |

I cut a new piece of mahogany and fitted it as carefully as I could to the missing back section. |

I cut back the enormous birch plywood patch and the nasty cleat that had been hide glued to the damaged areas. |

once fine sanded I set about attempting to match the mahogany colour to the patch. |

This is a very good classical guitar. I gifted it to my step son who is a gifted musician and guitarist. |
